Meet the Team – James E. Persing
James E. Persing, JD, PCC
Executive Coach
The Wall Street Coach
Jim Persing has worked with a wide variety of clients over his business career to assist them in reaching the professional and personal satisfaction they deserve and need. Over the past 12 years, his focus has been on using coaching to assist leaders, executives and entrepreneurs in becoming more satisfied and effective. Working through a personal and confidential relationship, Jim helps his clients identify desired areas of growth, establish realistic and achievable goals, and then remain accountable and successful through the coaching relationship.
Much of Jim’s work is focused on assisting others in achieving their own goals, either through a rededication to their existing work or business that better reflects their own philosophy. Jim also specializes in assisting professionals not only acclimate to their new positions, but to help them thrive from the start. His on-boarding focus has included new and emerging professionals in UNICEF and start-up financial representatives in a Fortune 500 company. He is able to use a wide variety of assessments to help establish a starting point, and then, together with the client, design a coaching process that is personally effective. From regional businesses to global organizations, Jim is able to provide coaching that is pragmatic, challenging and effective.
Jim works with clients from various corporate, business and professional sectors including financial and insurance services, human resources, legal and medical practices, healthcare innovation, attorneys and public accounting. These clients include executives in professional and personal transition, emerging leaders and executives looking to create and establish legacy and succession plans. Currently, his executive and business clients are from such international, regional and local organizations as Thrivent Financial, Corporate Balance Concepts, Geisinger Health System, the California and Pennsylvania Lawyer Assistance Programs, and UNICEF.
Jim has a J.D. from the Penn State-Dickinson School of Law and a Bachelor’s summa cum laude from Susquehanna University. He is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation and is currently a member of the ICF Global Regulatory Committee. He is also a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) through Coaches Training Institute. Additionally, he is a Wellness Coach and has been certified through the Highmark Blue Shield Preventative Health Alliance in stress management coaching.
